Dr Sujeeth R. Punnam was bestowed upon the “Award of Excellence in Medicine” by ATA (American Telugu Association)! This award was given at an astonishingly glittering banquet ceremony in front of thousands of audiences on July 1st in Walter Washington Convention Center, Washington DC from the Telangana State Minister, Mr Niranjan Reddy, ATA President Mr Bhuvanesh Boojala and Award Committee chair Mr Sharath Vemula. https://youtu.be/hjhk6jTVo3k ATA is a premier organization in the US and represents the cultural and aspirational values of about 600,000 Telugu speaking people in the US. ATA celebrated its hugely successful 17th Biennial Convention this July 1-3rd attended by about 15,000 people from all over the US.

Dr Sujeeth Punnam was chosen for Indian Red Cross Society Andhra Pradesh Branch’s Medal of Honor for the services rendered during the second Covid wave in 2021. His brother received the award on his behalf at a ceremony held in Vijayawada from AP Governor Shri Bishwa Bhushan Harichandan!

From Telangana State Health Minister- Shri Etela Rajender garu Awarded for the concerted efforts to work on prevention of Sudden Cardiac Death in India. As the project Lead for OGKTMA, raised $160,000 and equipped 170 Public ambulances in the entire state of Telangana
